Trail Use by Season
When snow is present, trails are used for snowmobiling.

Trail access and conditions are determined by weather, ground conditions, and safety considerations. Guests must follow posted signage and any seasonal advisories in effect at the time of their visit.
Seasonal Experiences
Spring
Spring brings quieter trails and a renewed landscape. As snow melts and ground conditions allow, trails transition to ATV use. This season is well suited for riders who prefer lower traffic, wildlife viewing, and cooler temperatures.
Trail access in spring may be limited at times to protect ground conditions and ensure safety.
Summer
Summer is peak season for ATV riding, hiking, camping, and outdoor exploration. With longer daylight hours and stable trail conditions, guests can fully enjoy trail networks, nature walks, fishing access, and family-friendly outdoor activities.
This is the most active season at Manitoba Outback.
Fall
Fall offers cooler temperatures, vibrant colours, and excellent ATV riding conditions. Trails are generally quieter, making this an ideal season for riders, photographers, and guests seeking a peaceful outdoor experience before winter.
Trail conditions are monitored closely as weather changes.
Winter
When sufficient snow is present, trails are designated for snowmobile use. Manitoba Outback provides access to regional routes that connect with Manitoba’s provincial SNOMAN trail system, allowing riders to travel through the Interlake and beyond. Trail access is dependent on snow cover, weather, and seasonal conditions.
During winter conditions with sufficient snow, Manitoba Outback’s trails provide access to regional snowmobile routes that connect with Manitoba’s provincial SNOMAN trail network. Trail access and connectivity are subject to weather, grooming schedules, and seasonal conditions.
Guests are responsible for ensuring they meet all provincial trail permit and licensing requirements.
SNOMAN trails are operated and maintained by local snowmobile clubs. Manitoba Outback does not own or operate provincial trails.
