Exploring the Trails at Manitoba Outback

Manitoba Outback offers access to a network of land-based trails designed for seasonal motorized use and quiet outdoor exploration. Trails are shaped by the landscape, the seasons, and responsible stewardship practices, and are managed to support safe access while protecting the land.

This page provides an overview of trail use, connectivity, and what to expect when planning your visit.

Seasonal Trail Designation

Trail use at Manitoba Outback follows a seasonal designation model:

    • When snow is present: Trails are designated for snowmobile use

    • When there is no snow: Trails are designated for ATV use

Trail designation may change based on weather, snow cover, ground conditions, and safety considerations. Posted signage and staff guidance always take precedence.

Trail Conditions & Closures

Trail conditions vary throughout the year and may be affected by:

    • Weather and precipitation

    • Freeze–thaw cycles

    • Snow depth

    • Land protection requirements

Manitoba Outback may temporarily restrict or close trails to:

    • Protect ground conditions

    • Address safety concerns

    • Conduct maintenance

All closures and advisories must be respected.
